Planning & Development Services Boards

Planning & Development Services (P&DS) has advisory boards that advise City Council and/or review proposed projects and policy.

In addition, two Public Works boards are often involved in P&DS public processes:

Serving on the Boards

Appointments to the boards are made annually in March, and recruitment begins in January. Throughout the year, vacancies may occur due to resignations. If the pool of applications on file from the last annual appointment process is not sufficient to fill interim vacancies, the City Clerk's Office will periodically advertise for additional applicants.

Requirements

Applicants must be:

  • 18 years of age;
  • registered to vote; and
  • residents within the City of Boulder.

Additional requirements may exist. Go to the city’s Boards & Commissions page for more information.
