Engage in the ninth annual celebration of international literature and global ideas from Sept. 21 – 23, 2023.

The Jaipur Literature Festival (JLF) Colorado returns to Boulder from Sept. 21 - 23 at the Boulder Public Library (1001 Arapahoe Ave). Over 50 local and international authors and speakers from across the globe will come together to engage in a vibrant exchange of ideas. The festival offers free admission and is open to all - pre-registration is highly recommended.

The annual festival will feature literature, music, book signings, provocative panel sessions and interviews with brilliant leading thinkers. This year’s phenomenal lineup of speakers includes Angela Saini, award-winning journalist and author of four books including The Patriarchs; Amitava Kumar, author of several works of nonfiction and three novels including A Time Outside this Time; and Martin Puchner, professor at Harvard University and prize-winning writer of books discussing technology, philosophy and the arts. Topics will include popular culture, political polarization, book banning, social justice, ancient histories, healthy living and more.

JLF Colorado is presented by the nonprofit organization JLF Colorado and Teamwork Arts in association with SCFD, the Boulder Public Library, the City of Boulder, the Boulder Arts Commission, the National Endowment for the Arts, Colorado Association for Fine Arts, Colorado Creative Industries, Community Foundation of Boulder County and the City of Boulder Human Relations Fund. The iconic mother festival is held annually at the Pink City of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The cultural and intellectual experience of JLF will be brought to Colorado for the ninth time.
