Trail Description
Royal Arch is a heavily trafficked, classic Boulder trail that leads to a natural stone arch with great views of Boulder and the Flatirons. Loose rocks, tight switchbacks and large steps will have your legs working hard. This trail can be confusing and feel longer than expected, so be sure to pack a map and extra water. The trail is not accessible directly from a trailhead but can be accessed through Bluebell Road (pedestrian access only) from the Chautauqua Trailhead.
