Property Description
This is a two-bedroom home that gets lots of light. The front porch is a private entrance with a garden and hangout spot, and it faces west with a decent view of the Flatirons. The rear entrance is the next-door neighbor's front entrance, and it is wheelchair accessible. There is a parking space, and guest parking, in the parking garage below the home that's shared with neighbors. It's great for winter. I have made the small improvement of adding floating bookshelves in the living room and one of the bedrooms. There are two closets in the first bedroom and one closet in the second, plus a closet in the rear-entrance foyer. There is a storage space in the Iris Hollow neighborhood, a block away, for $40 a month that is available. The rear entrance is now setup as a hangout for my child, but it can also just be cleared if you'd rather it empty. There is a shared backyard for BBQ's, birthday parties, etc. but mostly for the dogs of the condo association and their owners to enjoy. There is a great little park and playground two blocks away called Parkside Park. Safeway is one block east of us, and Wonderland Lake and the foothills are just 20 or so blocks west. The bike path that connects with the Creek Path is accessible right behind our home, near the optional storage shed. Columbine Elementary is a few blocks west. All the neighbors are great and most have been around for many years. Some are in the affordable-mortgage program and some are not.
