Apply to Serve on a Board or Commission

Volunteers appointed to serve on a board or commission help City Council examine issues and, in turn, shape the future of Boulder. The city currently has 27 open seats on 20 board and commissions.

Candidates have until Feb. 18 at 5 p.m. to submit their applications for vacant seats . See the list below for information about vacancies, including application forms. Please note group interviews are scheduled for March 3rd, 8th & 10th at 6-9 PM, keep calendars open.  Board interviews will be determined after the application deadline of Feb 18th.

To be eligible to serve on most boards or commissions, candidates must be: 18 years of age or older and a resident of Boulder for at least a year. Other qualifications may apply for specific seats.
