About City Council Meeting Day Change
Beginning on July 14, 2022, Boulder City Council meetings and study sessions will change from Tuesdays to Thursdays, with the start time remaining at 6 p.m. Council will approve needed code changes and the new 2022 meeting schedule at a meeting in June.
Council Agenda Committee meetings will continue to be held on Mondays at 9 a.m.
New Board and Committee Meeting Times
Planning Board, Design Advisory Board, and Board of Zoning Adjustments will adopt new meeting times when the council meeting date change occurs in July.

The Planning Board will meet on the 1st, 3rd, and 4th Tuesdays of the month at 6 p.m.

The Board of Zoning and Adjustments will meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 4 p.m.

The Design Advisory Board will meet on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 4 p.m.

Open Comment
- Old timeline - Open Thursday before meeting at 6 p.m.; Closes Monday before meeting at 2 p.m. (total 4 days)
- New timeline - Open Friday before meeting at 8 a.m.; Close Wednesday before meeting at 2 p.m. (total 5 days)
Public Hearing
- Old timeline - Open Thursday before meeting at 6 p.m.; Closes Tuesday day of meeting at 4 p.m. (total 4 days)
- New timeline - Open Friday before meeting at 8 a.m.; Close Wednesday before meeting at 2 p.m. (total 5 days)
Participation will be available in person in Council Chambers located in the Penfield Tate II Municipal Building, 1777 Broadway, and virtual (on Zoom). All sign-ups must be done in advance and online. Community members may continue to send a PowerPoint slide presentation to be shown during their Open Comment or Public Hearing remarks. Presentations will be shown in Council Chambers and will not air on Channel 8.
Study sessions will continue to be held virtual on Zoom.
