Pedestrian Enhancements
As part of the 2011 voter-approved Capital Improvement Bond, the City of Boulder will construct missing sidewalk links and pedestrian crossings throughout the city.
63rd Street Missing Sidewalk Link
Construct a sidewalk on the east side of 63 rd Street from Gunbarrel Avenue to Lookout Road.
Baseline Road and Canyon Creek Pedestrian Crossing
Bucknell Court Missing Sidewalk Links
Missing sidewalk links were constructed on Bucknell Court.
Canyon Boulevard and 21st Street Pedestrian Crossing
This project provided a pedestrian crossing treatment for the intersection of Canyon Boulevard and 21 st Street. The Transportation Master Plan states that pedestrians are the priority users on the system. This improvement will accelerate the city's progress in establishing a functional and contiguous network of sidewalks with frequent street crossing opportunities.
A sidewalk was constructed on the east side of Folsom Street from Arapahoe Avenue to approximately 200 feet south of Arapahoe Avenue.
Iris Avenue Missing Sidewalk Link
Construct a sidewalk on the south side of Iris Avenue between 28 th and 30 th streets.
Mapleton Avenue and 27th Street Sidewalks
Construction of new sidewalks along the south side of Mapleton Avenue between 26th and 27th streets and the west side of 27th Street between Mapleton Avenue and Pine Street.
Spine Road Missing Sidewalk Links

The city constructed a five-foot-wide sidewalk within the public right of way along the east side of Spine Road between White Rock Circle and Wellington Road/S Orchard Creek Circle.
