- Reduced greenhouse gas emissions 21% below 2005 levels despite population and job growth
- Achieved SmartRegs compliance in 96% of rental homes and apartments
- Achieved 50% diversion of waste from our landfills
- Developed over 44MW of local solar installations
- Installed capacity to generate 16MW of hydroelectricity at seven hydroelectric facilities throughout the city’s water system
- Installed 46 public electric vehicle charging stations
- Reduced city organization emissions 40% below 2008 levels
- Distributed $890,000 in Solar Grants
- Funded $496,000 in innovation grants through the Boulder Energy Challenge
- Founded and participates in the Colorado Coalition for Climate Action (CC4CA) to build momentum for climate policy at the state and federal levels
- Advised 2,400 and counting businesses on energy and waste, with about half of those businesses pursuing energy upgrades that resulted in 17,000 MTCO2 savings annually
- Advised 11,500 and counting residential units on energy efficiency options, with 4,600 units receiving energy upgrades equating to 9,000 MTCO2 in annual savings
- Became a Platinum Solar-Friendly Community
- Invested more than $16,000,000 in emissions-reducing programs and services since 2012
