Each year, the city provides grants to local organizations to recognize Immigrant Heritage Month through events and celebrations that honor the immigrants who have shaped the city for generations. The grants support events that facilitate the successful engagement of immigrants into the civic, economic and cultural life of the Boulder community.

This event, presented by Haula Community Organization, will feature performances, Nyakurut and other traditional forms of dance, music, and food of the Didinga and Laarim tribe of Eastern Equatoria state, Republic of South Sudan.

The event will provide an opportunity to recognize the essential sense of humanity and the value of sharing stories through songs, dancing, traditional dressing, riddle, and arts of body movement.

This event is free and open to the public. Registration is not required.
