Planning Board Meeting

The Planning Board generally meets on the first and third, and occasionally fourth, Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. The board will meet either in the City Council Chambers, 1777 Broadway or hold the meeting Virtually.

Starting in July 2022, the Planning Board will begin meeting on the 1st, 3rd and occasionally the 4th Tuesdays of each month at 6pm. Until then, they will meet on the 1st, 3rd, and occasionally the 4th Thursdays of each month at 6pm. The board will meet either in the City Council Chambers, 1777 Broadway, or hold the meeting virtually.     A. CALL UP
    ITEM: Use Review for additions to the Boulder County Jail facility at 3200 Airport Boulevard that include a new 55,626 square foot Alternative Sentencing Facility (ASF) along with a 32,392 square foot intake wing and a 2,134 square foot central heating and cooling plant addition. The decision may be called up before Planning Board on or before April 29, 2022.

    A. AGENDA TITLE: Site and Use Review application for the redevelopment of a 9.27-acre property located at 3320 28th St., and 3265 and 3267 30th Street as a mixed-use development with new street connections and includes ground floor retail along 28th Street and the proposed Street “A” along with ground floor amenity space with 291 residential units. The adjacent Boulder Housing Partners Diagonal Court Townhomes property is included in the proposal with a new proposed new park to be shared between the two properties. Reviewed under case no. LUR2021-00037.


    B. AGENDA TITLE: Public hearing and recommendation to City Council regarding proposed Ordinance 8515, amending Title 9, “Land Use Code,” B.R.C. 1981, to update the Site Review criteria as part of the Community Benefit code change project.
