Municipal Investments / Earnings Reports
The Treasury Division is responsible for daily management of the city's cash and investments. The Division follows the investment ordinance found in Chapter 2-10 of the Boulder Revised Code, 1981.
An investment committee consisting of the Chief Financial Officer, Controller and Assistant Controller meets quarterly to review the investment portfolio performance, establish internal guidelines and discuss interest rate and market trends.
The quarterly reports provide information on the investment portfolio of the city and the effective rate of returns received on those investments.
