Holger Durre

Holger Durre is the deputy fire chief for Boulder Fire-Rescue and is responsible for overseeing the support and administrative portions of the department. This includes training, finance, fleet and facilities, as well as departmental planning and development. Chief Durre has worked in public safety since 1995, of which 17 years were at Poudre Fire Authority in Fort Collins where he held positions as a Battalion Chief, Captain, Assistant Fire Marshal, Driver/Operator and Firefighter.  He holds a master’s degree in Public Administration and is a designated Chief Fire Officer through the Center for Public Safety Excellence.
