Creek Structural Repairs

City contractors have repaired infrastructure along Boulder's 15 major creeks where the city has ownership or an existing easement. This included stream bank restoration, channel erosion remediation, drop structure replacement, and culvert repairs. The city is seeking financial reimbursement from FEMA for this work.

A contractor is restoring the stream channel and repairing the bikeway along Fourmile Canyon Creek pdf between Broadway and Violet Park.

Fourmile Canyon Creek Realignment Near 4 th Street and Lee Hill Road

During the flood event, Fourmile Canyon Creek pdf cut a new channel and rerouted toward homes and structures on 4th Street near Lee Hill Drive. The Urban Drainage and Flood Control District has since returned the creek to its pre-flood banks.
