City Council accepted the Bear Canyon Creek Flood Mitigation Plan on Feb. 7, 2017.

The City of Boulder is evaluating opportunities for flood mitigation improvements along Bear Canyon Creek. Staff will consider impacts from the September 2013 flooding, as well as the 100-year regulatory flood model and more frequent storm events, to determine mitigation options and prioritize future work along the creek. AMEC Foster Wheeler has been hired as the project consultant team and is in the process of preparing the final mitigation plan recommendations.
