Free Pedestrian and Bike Light Giveaway

Stop by the multi-use path west of the Municipal Building, near 11th Avenue and Canyon, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7 for a free pedestrian and bike light giveaway.

As fall sets in and there is less daylight, the City of Boulder, the University of Colorado Boulder, Community Cycles and SharedPaths Boulder are gearing up for the annual Lighten Up Boulder walk and bicycle safety campaign to encourage the use of lights when walking and riding during the day and at night. Pick up free pedestrian and bike lights and talk to walk and bike ambassadors about safely at our upcoming event light distribution.

If you are unable to attend the pedestrian and bike light giveaway, you can pick up lights at the GO Boulder offices, 1101 Arapahoe Ave., second floor, or Community Cycles at 2601 Spruce St. Unit B (entrance near alley).
