Healthy Lawns, Healthy Neighborhoods

The City of Boulder is offering a free workshop on Monday, Jan. 29, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Canyon Theater of the Boulder Public Library, to provide information about ways to avoid using synthetic chemicals, such as neonicotinoids, and caring for lawns in ways that are safe for families, neighborhoods and the environment.

This free workshop on Jan. 29 will be led by nationally-renowned natural lawn management expert, Chip Osborne. The workshop will provide information on successfully transitioning lawns away from synthetic chemicals, building healthy soils, and creating resilient and drought-resistant lawns that are safe for families and neighborhoods. This workshop is appropriate for home owners, HOAs, businesses and landscape professionals who are interested in learning more about natural turf care.
