INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT HOTLINE - POSTED SEPTEMBER 17, 2017

This information was posted on Sunday, September 17, for applications that will take place the week of September 18, 2017.

         

Open Space & Mountain Parks (OSMP)

OSMP staff will apply Rodeo and Milestone, EPA Category III herbicides, to sow thistle and common teasel at the following properties:

  • Fell/Manchester property, located northeast of the intersection of 75th Street and Jay Road
  • Burke I and Gebhard, located southwest of the intersection of Baseline and Cherryvale Roads.  The Bobolink and South Boulder Creek Trails are in the vicinity. 

 

OSMP staff will apply Milestone, an EPA Category III, herbicide, to common teasel at the Suitts property, located northeast of the intersection of South Boulder Road.  

 

OSMP staff will spot apply Clearcast, an EPA Category III herbicide to purple loosestrife and hairy willow-herb at the ERTL and

IBM properties, located east and west of the Diagonal Highway and south of Monarch Road.

 

OSMP staff will cut-stump apply Pathfinder II, an EPA Category III herbicide, to Russian olive and Siberian elm to restore an agricultural hay field at the O’Connor Family property, located east of 76th Street and north of South Boulder Road.

 

OSMP staff will spot apply Rodeo, an EPA Category III herbicide, to crack willow re-sprouts at the Kolb property, located east of the intersection of 75th Street and Jay Road.

 

An OSMP contractor will apply Delta Dust, an EPA Category III insecticide for state mandated flea control prior to prairie dog relocation at Foothills Community Park and ERNI, located east of Broadway and north of Utica Ave.

Parks & Recreation Urban Resources

Parks & Recreation Urban Resources staff will apply Milestone, an EPA Category III herbicide, to common teasel and multiple thistle species in the natural areas of Eaton Park located east of N. 63rd Street and north of the cal-du-sac of Nautilus Drive.

 

Parks & Recreation Urban Resources staff will apply Clearcast, Escort XP, and Milestone, EPA Category III herbicides, to poison ivy, canada thistle, houndstongue, common burdock, and yellow flag iris in the natural area at the north end of Harlow Platts Park, located east of Gillaspie Drive and south of Grinnell Avenue.

 

Parks & Recreation Urban Resources staff will apply Milestone, an EPA Category III herbicide, to common teasel and multiple thistle species at the Dry Creek (Aeromodel) natural area located east of N. 51st Street and south of the 55th Street Trailhead.
