INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT HOTLINE - POSTED SEPTEMBER 24, 2017

This information was posted on Sunday, September 24, for applications that will take place the week of September 25, 2017.

         

Open Space & Mountain Parks (OSMP)

OSMP staff will spot spray Milestone, an EPA Category III, herbicide, to common teasel at the Suitts property, located northeast of the intersection of Nelson and 63rd Street.  

 

OSMP staff will cut-stump apply Rodeo  and/or Pathfinder II, EPA Category III herbicides, to crack willow re-sprouts at the Cottonwood Grove property, located west of 55th Street and south of Valmont.  

 

OSMP staff will spot apply Milestone and Clearcast, and Escort, EPA Category III herbicides, to scotch, musk and Canada thistle, reed canary grass and woody invasive species at the Colorado Open Lands, Short-Milne and Straty-Cline properties, located north of Valmont Road and east and west of 61st Street.

 

OSMP staff will spot apply Clearcast, an EPA Category III herbicide to purple loosestrife and hairy willow-herb at the following properties:

  • Teller Lake, located south of Valmont Road and west of 95th Street
  • Axelson and BVR, located north of Jay Road and west of 55th Street                        

 

OSMP staff will spot apply Milestone, an EPA Category III herbicide, to sow thistle at the Biddle property, located north of Valmont Road and west of 75th Street.

 

OSMP staff will cut-stump apply Clearcast, an EPA Category III herbicide, to Russian olive at the following properties:

  • Kolb, located north of Valmont Road and east of 75th Street
  • Church of Christ and Short, located south of South Boulder Road and west of S. 68th Street

Parks & Recreation Urban Resources

Parks & Recreation Urban Resources staff will apply Milestone, an EPA Category III herbicide, to common teasel, diffuse knapweed, moth mullein and multiple thistle species at the South Dam Natural Area, West of Highway 119 and North of Reservoir Road.

 

Parks & Recreation Urban Resources staff will apply Milestone, an EPA Category III herbicide, to common teasel and multiple thistle species at the Dry Creek (Aeromodel) natural area located east of N. 51st Street and south of the 55th Street Trailhead.

 

Parks & Recreation Urban Resources staff will apply Clearcast and Milestone, EPA Category III herbicides, to common teasel, reed canarygrass, diffuse knapweed, and multiple thistle species at the North Dam natural area located north of Highway 119 and west of 63rd Street.

 

Parks & Recreation Urban Resources staff will apply Clearcast and Milestone, EPA Category III and IV herbicides, common teasel, multiple thistle species, and other noxious and invasive weed species in the natural areas north of the Gerald Stazio Ballfield Complex and south of the maintenance building, located at  Valmont and Stazio Drive.
