National Night Out: Boulder

Because we know that connected communities are typically safer and more resilient, we invite you to take part and host a gathering in your neighborhood. We will make sure that you have a friendly visit from police officers or firefighters, and even city council members if you wish. On top of that, the city’s Neighborhood Services program will reimburse up to $300 for expenses for your party – all you need to do is register your event, fill out a simple reimbursement form and provide receipts.

Due to COVID-19 National Night Out 2020 is cancelled.

Bring a spark to your neighborhood by registering, gather your friends and neighbors together and get outside for this special annual event. To make the night even that much better, apply for a neighborhood grant.

National Night Out is a tremendous opportunity to enhance relationships between neighbors, law enforcement and fire services while bringing back a true sense of community. It also provides an opportunity to bring police and neighbors together.

National Night Out started in 1984 and has since swept across the nation. It is an annual event in all 50 states, U.S. territories, Canada and military bases worldwide, involving more than 15,000 communities and 37 million volunteers, residents and civil servants.
