The Boulder Reservoir swim beach has reopened on Aug. 19 after being closed due to elevated levels of bacteria.
The Reservoir occasionally closes the designated swimming area, but not the boating, waterskiing, fishing or picnicking activities due to elevated levels of bacteria.
To protect the public, staff routinely test Reservoir water quality. The Reservoir swim area has now reopened as bacteria levels have returned to acceptable levels.
