Boulder police investigate a man who contacted two children in a suspicious manner
Boulder police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a man who tried to contact two adolescent boys who were walking in the 1600 block of Yarmouth Avenue. The incident occurred on March 7, at approximately 3:45 p.m. The boys were contacted by a middle-aged man with a white moving truck with an unknown symbol on the side (similar to the photo attached.) He asked for their help retrieving some keys that were stuck inside his vehicle specifically stating that he needed someone small. The boys said no and the man asked again offering to give them $20.00. The frightened boys then ran off.
Boulder police became aware of this incident earlier today after being contacted by a teacher at the children’s school.
