Boulder police investigating a police impersonator responsible for an unlawful sexual contact
On May 9, at approximately 1:20 a.m., a woman was waiting to be picked up by an Uber in the 1100 block of Lawry Lane when a man approached her identifying himself as a Boulder Police Officer and asked if she was ok. When victim got into the Uber the suspect also jumped into the back seat. While in transit, the suspect put his arm around the victim and fondled her breast.
The suspect rode with the victim to her residence in the 800 block of 28th Street. The victim quickly exited the Uber and once she was in a safe location contacted police.
The suspect is described as a black male wearing a black jacket, light-colored shirt and dark pants.
