Boulder Police Need Help Locating Two People That Have Critical Information About a Bicycle Connected to a Homicide
The Boulder Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying and locating two people who have critical information about a bicycle that is connected to last month’s homicide at the Circle K.
On July 23, at approximately 5:21 p.m., police were notified of a fight breaking out on the north side of the building over a gold bicycle. When officers arrived the victim was unconscious, and the suspect was gone. Within two hours police were able to identify, locate and arrest the suspect, Brian Farrar, for suspicion of first-degree murder after deliberation and felony murder.
Investigators believe that both individuals have critical information regarding the bicycle that Brian Farrar and Terry Shipman were fighting over moments before Mr. Shipman was killed.
Anyone who may have additional information on this case is asked to call Detective Matt Greer 303-441-4322. Those who have information but wish to remain anonymous may contact the Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Tips may also be submitted through the Crime Stoppers website at crimeshurt.com.
