Boulder police release composite sketch of man who robbed an elderly woman standing on her front porch
Boulder police have released a composite sketch of the man who robbed an elderly woman standing on her front porch in the 3100 block of 11th Street on Jan. 8, at approximately 6:20 p.m.
The victim was robbed while standing on her front porch looking at mail. The suspect came up to the victim from behind and said, ’gimme your purse.’ The victim did not comply with the demand, so the suspect pulled hard on purse which caused the victim to roll down her steps. The suspect fled on foot with the victim’s purse and cell phone, neither of which has been recovered. The victim was injured and received medical treatment.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in early his 20’s, between 5’05” and 5’08” tall with a regular build and small mustache. At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a light-colored serape style hooded sweatshirt with horizontal stripes.
