Boulder police are searching for Bhagwan Das after he left a home on Glenwood Drive at 6 a.m. this morning for a walk and has not been seen or heard from since.
Bhagwan suffers from Parkinson’s disease and has difficulty walking. He walks slow, is unsteady on his feet and his body tilts or droops to the left when walking and standing. Bhagwan also tends to walk with his hands behind his back. He is unfamiliar with the area and does not speak English. Bhagwan is intimidated by roads and crosswalks and is believed to be on a multi-use path.
Bhagwan is 62 years-old. He is described as being 5 feet, 7 inches tall with gray hair and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a dark grey jacket and trousers, a black and white t-shirt and dark tan shoes. A recent photo of Bhagwan is attached. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact police immediately by calling 9-1-1.
