City Accepting Applications to Fill 33 Advisory Board Vacancies
Are you passionate about issues like transportation, open space or the arts? If so, consider applying to serve on a City of Boulder advisory board.
Boulder City Council is accepting applications for boards and commissions through Thursday, Jan. 28. City advisory boards offer residents a unique opportunity to become involved in local government and in the community. Advisory boards collaborate with and advise particular city departments and City Council on related issues.
All work for boards and commissions is considered volunteer service. Generally, applicants must be 18 years of age and reside within city limits. The city strives to appoint community members of diverse ethnic, social, cultural and economic backgrounds to boards and commissions. EcoPasses are available to board and commission members and are good for local and regional RTD bus service.
This year, there are 33 openings on 15 boards, which will focus on issues such as libraries, parks, planning and more.
If you are eligible and wish to apply, please complete an online application. Applications for and information about specific vacancies are available online. Language access services are available to anyone who needs assistance completing the application.
