City Calling for East Boulder Subcommunity Plan Working Group Applicants
City staff is hoping to fill positions in the group that represent the variety and diversity of
those who live in, work in, or frequent east Boulder
The city is calling for applicants interested in participating in the East Boulder Subcommunity Plan Working Group. Anyone interested in east Boulder with a passion for working collaboratively is eligible to participate. City staff is hoping to fill positions in the group that represent the variety and diversity of those who live in, work in, or frequent east Boulder. Those interested in participating must apply by April 19.
This spring the City of Boulder kicked-off its subcommunity planning project in east Boulder. The plan will be a tool for residents, land owners, business owners, city officials and city staff that communicates expectations about the future of the subcommunity and guides decision-making about subcommunity resilience.
East Boulder is home to some of Boulder’s great businesses, urban parks and greenways. This subcommunity is one of the city’s primary employment centers, with many local businesses specializing in scientific, research and technology sectors. There are also important local businesses in east Boulder. These include construction industry professionals, warehousing, food production and small-scale manufacturing.
