City of Boulder Extends Application Deadline for Select Boards and Commissions

Application deadline for six advisory boards extended to March 19

The City of Boulder has extended the application deadline for six boards and commissions in need of additional specialized expertise. Applications are due March 19.

There are several opportunities for commercial property owners or their representatives, and one opportunity for an architect or urban planner. There is also an open seat for a Boulder resident with an interest or expertise in urban renewal.  Volunteers appointed to serve on a board or commission help City Council examine issues and, in turn, help shape the future of Boulder.

The following are the boards and commissions with open seats and descriptions of the needed expertise.

  • Boulder Junction Access District - Parking Commission: Seat open for a commercial property owner or representative
  • Boulder Junction Access District - Travel Demand Management Commission: Seat open for commercial property owner or representative
  • Boulder Urban Renewal Authority: Seat open for a Boulder resident with an interest and/or expertise in urban renewal
  • Downtown Management Commission: Seat open for a commercial property owner or representative
  • Landmarks Board: Seat open for an architect or urban planning professional
  • University Hill Commercial Area Management Commission: Seat open for a commercial property owner or representative
