City Releases Request for Proposals for 2020 Funding From the Human Services Fund
The City of Boulder Housing and Human Services Department is accepting proposals for the 2020 Human Services Fund (HSF) to award approximately $1.5 million in funding to community agencies delivering social services that provide support for residents.
The HSF funds 501(c)(3) nonprofit agencies and organizations, educational or governmental entities and strongly encourages applications from organizations that work with underrepresented populations. The HSF funds specific programs, initiatives and projects, rather than general support for entire agencies and does not provide seed or start-up funding. HSF has been accepting multi-year funding applications for the 2019 fund round. However, the 2020 HSF fund round application will be for single-year funding only.
The City of Boulder, Boulder County and City of Longmont share an application process and are providing free training sessions for agencies interested in applying to any of the HSFs. The training are offered on June 18 in Longmont and June 27 in Boulder and will include informational presentations designed to help applicants create and describe program outputs and outcomes and complete a program “logic model;” and small group technical assistance with staff from each local government. Prior registration is required. Information is available on the City of Boulder HSF website.
Applications are due on or before Thursday, August 1, 2019 at 4 p.m. Applications must be submitted electronically using the e-CImpact grant management system. No paper or late applications will be accepted.
