City to Host Local Power Update on April 18
Meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the Boulder Riverside (1724 Broadway)
Consistent with Boulder’s commitment to provide regular updates on Local Power, the city will host a April 18 public meeting to share the latest work related to the development of a local electric utility. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at Riverside (1724 Broadway).
At the meeting, Director of Climate Initiatives Steve Catanach will provide an update on the project including acquisition, engineering and the Colorado Public Utilities Commission. Staff will also discuss power supply, or how the electricity of the local utility might be generated.
The city will also provide information on the city’s Climate Commitment and Earth Month.
