Boulder Police locate missing child and continue to search for her mother

Through a coordinated multi-state investigation with local, state and federal law enforcement, Adam Densmore and his daughter, Winter Mead, have been located in Oklahoma just outside of Tulsa.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol took Densmore into custody at approximately 1:15 p.m. today, Feb. 15, on a warrant alleging violation of custody. Winter was unharmed and placed in the temporary care of Child Protective Services in Oklahoma. 

Ashley Mead and her daughter, Winter were reported missing on Feb. 14, 2017 after Ashley did not show up for work. Police are still trying to locate Ashley, who was last seen in Boulder on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017. 

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Ashley Mead is asked to contact the Boulder Police Department at 303-441-1974.Those who have information but wish to remain anonymous may contact the Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Tips may also be submitted through the Crime Stoppers website at Those submitting tips through Crime Stoppers that lead to the arrest and filing of charges on a suspect(s) may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 from Crime Stoppers.
