Adam Densmore arrested on suspicion of 1st degree murder and the search for Ashley Mead continues

The Boulder Police Department and Boulder District Attorney’s Office continue to investigate the disappearance of Ashley Mead. Yesterday afternoon, the Okmulgee Police Department contacted Boulder Police after a body was found in a dumpster outside of a Walmart in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Boulder Police have sent two detectives to Oklahoma to work with local law enforcement to help determine if the body found is Ashley.

To protect the integrity of this investigation Adam Densmore’s arrest warrant has been sealed. 

Ashley Mead and her daughter, Winter were reported missing on Feb. 14, 2017 after Ashley did not show up for work. Police are still trying to locate Ashley who was last seen in Boulder on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017. 

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Ashley Mead is asked to contact the Boulder Police Department at 303-441-1974.Those who have information but wish to remain anonymous may contact the Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Tips may also be submitted through the Crime Stoppers website at crimeshurt.com. Those submitting tips through Crime Stoppers that lead to the arrest and filing of charges on a suspect(s) may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 from Crime Stoppers.
