June Is Walk and Bike Month in Boulder

Register for Boulder’s Bike to Work Day and walk, bike or bus throughout the month

June 1 kicks off a month-long celebration of walking and biking in Boulder. This year, the City of Boulder and local community partners are hosting over 50 free walks, bike rides and other events, including Boulder’s Bike to Work Day on Wednesday, June 27.

The event is part of a statewide celebration and includes nearly 50 breakfast stations hosted by local companies and organizations in Boulder. By registering for Bike to Work Day, individuals are eligible to win great prizes, and help the city measure the impact of biking and walking.

Throughout June, Boulder community members - all ages and abilities - are encouraged to walk, bike, and ride transit for daily trips. This is also a great opportunity to explore the Boulder’s extensive bus system and use walking and biking for your first and last mile!
