National Night Out to Bring Neighbors Together with Police and Fire Departments
National Night Out is an annual event that helps to build camaraderie and allows for meaningful conversations in a casual setting while bringing back a true sense of community. Even better, it offers an excellent opportunity to bring together police and neighbors under positive circumstances.
National Night Out 2018 is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7, all neighborhoods are invited to participate.
In addition to a visit from members of the Police or Fire departments, hosts of National Night Out events will be provided with a T-shirt, and all registered events will be entered into a drawing to use Boulder’s Neighborhood Block Party Trailer, which offers a variety of games and other items to make the gathering a hit. On top of that, the city’s Neighborhood Services program will reimburse up to $300 for expenses for your party – all you need to do is register your event, fill out a simple reimbursement form and provide receipts.
Please register online by visiting www.bouldercolorado.gov and typing National Night Out in the search bar. Registration is open now through July 25th.
