The first 12 people to respond and reserve a spot will receive a follow up, one-on-one coaching session with Rosenberg and a free copy of The Artist’s Guide to Grant Writing
On Tuesday, Feb. 6, the City of Boulder Office of Arts and Culture will host a grant writing workshop with author and artist coach, Gigi Rosenberg. This free program begins at 5:30 p.m. and will be held in the Canyon Theater at the Main Boulder Public Library, 1001 Arapahoe Ave. Beyond her work as an educator, Rosenberg is editor of Professional Artist , a national business magazine for visual artists and author of The Artist’s Guide to Grant Writing (Watson-Guptill).
The first 12 people to respond and reserve a spot will receive a follow up, one-on-one coaching session with Rosenberg and a free copy of The Artist’s Guide to Grant Writing . Contact Lauren Click at [email protected] or 720-564-2355 to reserve a spot.
Rosenberg will discuss how to research funding, decode application questions, and let the grant-writing process focus career goals and mission engagement. In the workshop, based on her book, Rosenberg will demonstrate how to play the matchmaking game with potential funders, enlist a team to help craft a proposal, follow-up with a funder, and create a budget that makes your application irresistible. Bring any writing you have about yourself or your work, including artist statement, project descriptions, or reviews, for an audience question and answer session.
