How does one map beauty? What is the road that leads to our experience of beauty in this particular local landscape?
On this hike with artist Ellen Laverdure, we let ourselves be filled with and shaped by the landscape in which we live. We will hike quietly, observing and experiencing this piece of the world in which we move, recording our musings, observations or reactions at stopping points throughout the hike. Using sketches, words, or even photos, we will create snapshots of the geography of the beauty in this place, in this time, in who we are now. At the end of the hike we will fashion our own “map of beauty”, using our hike reflections to create a personal map that provides an entry into the beauty we are part of.
Meeting location will be provided in your confirmation email.
