Peak Performance: Viola With High Altitude - PROGRAM FULL
Peak Performance: Viola with High Altitude - PROGRAM FULL
Saturday September 29, 9 a.m. – noon
Join Matt Diekman, violist from the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra, for an easy hike along one of Boulder’s spectacular trails. Matt will guide the conversation through Western music's connection of the natural world, and specifically to how stringed instruments are constructed and the mechanics of how they work (very much related to natural materials and awareness of the environment). We will listen to Matt play his viola in one of OSMP's naturally-formed stone amphitheaters!
There is a $5 cash parking fee for cars registered outside Boulder County. The meeting location will be provided with your confirmation email.
