Darkest Night New Moon Hike

Darkest Night New Moon Hike
Friday December 7,  5:30 – 7 p.m.

This Friday is our darkest night of the year. We will gather in the evening just after sunset to walk in silence among coyotes, bobcats, mice, and owls. We will feel our way through the starlit forest and into the heart of Shanahan Ridge on this 2 mile walk. In the safety of our group and with guided facilitation on this auspicious night, we will provoke experience and awareness of a greater depth of being. Be prepared for snow and possibly ice on the ground: strap-on traction for your shoes is highly encouraged since trails could be very slick. Dress warmly and bring a flashlight or headlamp just in case. Meet at the neighborhood Shanahan trail access, 1903 Lehigh St. in Boulder (where Lehigh and Lafayette streets intersect). Free parking is available along the street.
