Fishin’ Fun With the Rangers
Fishin’ Fun with the Rangers
Wednesday Aug. 8, 9 – 11 a.m.
Join Open Space & Mountain Parks Rangers Eric Collins and Brandon Garrett along with OSMP's Junior Ranger Naturalists for a two hour fishing excursion. This program is best for children who have never been fishing or have limited fishing experience. We will explore fish adaptations and behaviors as well as places to go on OSMP lands to catch bass, sunfish, bluegill and carp. Equipment and bait will be available, but please bring your own if you prefer! Guardians must plan on staying with their children throughout the program. If you are 16 or over, a valid state of Colorado fishing license is required. Please bring mosquito repellent, sunscreen and water. This program is wheelchair accessible. Meet at Sawhill Ponds.
