Full Moon - Relaxing Through Forest Bathing
Full Moon - Relaxing through Forest Bathing
Thu March 1, 6 – 8 p.m.
Join OSMP staff under a brilliant full moon to learn the restorative practice of Shinrin Yoku– the Japanese art of forest bathing, and enjoy the woods of Boulder. Stressed out from classes, life, or just in need of some structured time in the woods? This hike is also ideal for someone just getting into hiking or slowing down after many years of enjoying the outdoors. We’ll take a moment to experience the physiological benefits of utilizing the land, trees, and ecosystems of OSMP to heal and add value to our lives. This hike offers stationary periods where we will observe and reflect, so bring extra warm layers to keep yourself comfortable. We will be meeting at Sawhill Ponds.
