Green Mountain Summit – West Ridge Ascent

Green Mountain Summit – West Ridge Ascent
Tuesday February 5,  10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Join OSMP Recreation Coordinator David Ford for an easier way to ascend Green Mountain. This 3-mile out-and-back has a steep section, so be prepared to get those knees up, but compared to other ways to get up Green Mtn. it’s just more pleasant. Last summer OSMP did quite a bit of trail work re-routing a section, so come check it out if you haven’t done this section in a while! Meet at the Green Mountain West Ridge Trailhead off Flagstaff Road. Map search 4900 Flagstaff Road, Boulder or follow this link to a map.

Please bring layers appropriate for the weather and 1 litre of water. Strap-on traction for your boots required (we may have a few extra pairs of cleats) since trails will be very slick and icy.
