Nature Hikes and Programs

Nature Hikes and Programs

Natural Selections is our ongoing series of educational nature-based programs on a variety of topics including ecology, wildlife, safety, local history, night hikes, art hikes, stargazing, and programs designed specifically for children. All programs are free and open to all. (But please don't bring your dog.)

Would you like Natural Selections sent to you by email? Join our mailing list! You will receive a weekly notice about upcoming programs. We will not share your email address or send you spam!

Teachers, scout troops and community groups: Sign up for free individualized programs from Open Space and Mountain Parks staff. Visit the Request an Environmental Education Program page to learn more!

Also, visit the new Environmental Education Virtual Learning Database. It contains high quality, largely bilingual content from organizations like ours from across the state. You can search by grade, subject, topic and more! Plus, all content is designed to be easily shared with students learning at home.
