OSMP Master Plan Responsible Recreation, Stewardship and Enjoyment Community Workshop
Community members are invited to a series of three community workshops exploring future outcomes and strategies for four Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) Master Plan focus areas. The second workshop will focus on the Responsible Recreation, Stewardship and Enjoyment focus area. Information about the other workshops can be found at OSMPMasterPlan.org.
What: Community Workshop on Responsible Recreation, Stewardship and Enjoyment
When: 5:30 to 8 pm on Monday, Nov. 5, 2018
Where: Boulder Jewish Community Center, 6007 Oreg Ave., Boulder, CO 80303
Here is a tentative schedule for the workshops:
- 5:30 to 6 pm: Sign in
- 6 pm: Introductions and welcome
- 6:05 to 6:50 pm: Presentation and keypad polling
- 6:50 to 8 pm: Exploration of stations / discussions
OSMP encourages the use of public transit for those planning to take part in the workshops. For those unable to attend, an online questionnaire will be available for each workshop for two weeks after the workshop.
During the workshops, OSMP will share preliminary Master Plan outcomes and strategies for Master Plan focus areas. OSMP will kick-start community conversations about desired results for city open space and how the city can achieve them by sharing staff-generated preliminary outcomes and strategies derived from recent community feedback, existing OSMP policies, and best practices in managing open space and public lands.
This meeting is open to the public, and Open Space Board of Trustees and City Council members may be present.
