Winter’s Touch: Storytime and Animal Hat Hike

Winter’s Touch: Storytime and Kids’ Hike
Wed. Feb. 28, 10 – 11 a.m.

10 a.m. Story Time, 10:30 Kid-Friendly Hike
Snowflakes, snow balls and ANIMAL HATS! ! Let’s make this hike extra fun by wearing hats with animal faces. Don’t have an animal hat? We’ll have extra hats and paper eyes and ears to add to any hat you wear. For story hour, seasonal naturalist Ellen Orleans will read winter picture books, then set out on a tactile hike to discover what’s sharp, soft, smooth, and rough on Chautauqua’s trails. Meet at the Chautauqua Ranger Cottage. The story time part of this activity is held at a wheelchair-accessible location.
Follow this link for a map to the meeting place.
