Escape to White Rocks

Escape to White Rocks
Sunday October 21, 1 – 5 p.m.

If you have already been on a White Rocks hike with OSMP, please allow others the opportunity to sign up first.

This program is free but space is limited. Please register here:
Reservations will open Monday October 15 at 12 p.m.

White Rocks, an area both fragile and precious, is open to the public through guided hikes.  This hike will include a geology story as seen in the rocks, an exploration of several microhabitats and a short cliff-top rest stop with views of mountains and plains. Join volunteer naturalist Bev Halwa in this unique natural area, home to Ricky Weiser for many years.  Bring water, food, clothing layers as well as sun, rain and mosquito protection.  Due to tall weeds along the hike, we recommend long pants and closed shoes. This hike is free but limited to 15 people. Meeting location will be provided when you register.
