Beverage Licensing Authority

Group interviews for the 2017 applicants to Boards and Commissions will be held in 1777 West Conference Room of the Municipal Building from 6 PM to 9 PM and will take place on:
• Thursday, March 9
• Tuesday, March 14
• Thursday, March 16
Boards will be assigned a date and time for group interviews soon after the application process closes in February.


The BLA hears and rules upon applications for licenses for the sale of fermented malt beverages and liquor. The Authority can suspend or revoke such licenses for cause.

The BLA meets the third Wednesday of each month starting at 3 p.m. at 1777 Broadway, 2nd floor, City Council Chambers. The BLA consists of five members appointed by City Council, each to a five-year term.
