Boulder Police Ask for Community Assistance in Officer Assault

At approximately 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, Boulder police responded to the Safeway at 3325 28th St. on a report of a woman harassing people with pepper spray. The suspect left the scene before officers arrived, but was located soon after at Vic’s Coffee, 3305 30th St.
When an officer contacted the suspect, the woman became very agitated and aggressive and proceeded to use the pepper spray on the officer. She then left the scene on foot. Police searched the area, but were unable to find her. The officer was transported to Boulder Community Health and was subsequently treated and released.
The suspect is described as a white female, in her mid-20s, with long brown hair. At the time of the incident, she was wearing a green shirt and yoga pants. Several photos are attached.
