Boulder Police Working to Identify Body of a Man Found in a Small Pond

Boulder police working to identify body of a man found in a small pond

On Aug. 22, shortly after noon, a construction worker alerted police to the body of a deceased person floating in a small pond north of the 3100 block of Iris Avenue.  

The victim is a white male believed to be in his 20s, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, with a thin build, brown hair and brown eyes. At the time of his death, he was wearing a red baseball hat (photo is attached), a white t-shirt, blue jeans and black tennis shoes. His identity is unknown. 

The police department would like the public’s assistance with the identification of this man and/or any information as to why he was in the area between Monday evening, Aug. 21 and the time his body was discovered. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Kurt Foster at 303-441-4329.
