Open Space - Science of a Living Planet

Open Space - Science of a Living Planet
Tuesday, October 30 – 6 – 7:30 p.m.

Did you know that rock, water, plants and animals are seamlessly connected as a single, living system? We can see examples of this when we spend time in Lafayette Open Space. Join naturalist, Martin Ogle to learn about our newest scientific understandings of Earth and how they are reflected all around us. This program is part one of a two-part series. The second program, to be held in November, will be a guided brainstorming session entitled “Linking the Science of Our Living Planet with All Careers.” Meet at Lafayette Library, 775 W. Baseline Rd. Please contact Martin Ogle for more information. [email protected].
