Lynnette Beck was appointed Boulder city clerk in October 2015.
Lynnette first joined the City of Boulder in February 1996 and spent one year in Municipal Court and then one year at the Colorado Supreme Court. She returned to the City of Boulder in 1998 as the teen court administrator and has been here ever since. Her previous positions in the city include legal assistant, legal administrator and administrative services manager in the City Attorney’s Office.
Lynnette has a B.A. from the University of Colorado Boulder and an M.C.J. (Masters of Criminal Justice) from the School of Public Affairs at University of Colorado Denver.
As city clerk, Lynnette oversees a team responsible for City Council support, coordinating general elections, boards and commissions recruiting, sister city relations and the domestic partnership registry.
